About Mirabelly

Why I built this

I'm Dan. I'm a parent, and I built Mirabelly for my own household. The weekly grocery list was the chore I could never get ahead of: everyone at our table eats a little differently, and someone was always eating around the plan. I'd stand in the kitchen on a Sunday with a notepad, trying to hold the whole week in my head, and I'd still come home with the same handful of things I bought last week. So I wrote a program to do the holding-in-my-head part. You describe who's at your table, and it hands back one shared list for the week. If you want the mechanics, they're on how Mirabelly works.

What the beta is

Mirabelly is in invite-only beta. I open it to a few households at a time, because a small batch is the only size at which I can read every reply and act on it. It's free while the beta runs — there's no payment to set up and nothing to cancel. It's also unfinished in real ways, and I'd rather you hear that from me than find it out later: what we cover states the product's limits as they stand today. The terms and the privacy policy are working drafts under legal review, and each page says so above the copy.

If you'd like an invite
