One solve covers every profile in the house — a toddler, a teenager, a pregnancy, a grandparent with a small appetite. Each person gets their own calorie and nutrient targets, and the basket is balanced so one list covers them all. Nobody gets averaged away.
Deny anything and the list re-balances around it. Keep your staples, start from what's already in the fridge, and leave room for the freezer pizza — we aim for about 90% of calories, leaving the rest for your own choices. Allergies are handled best-effort against a published scope page: we filter what we can, say exactly what we cover, and ask you to verify labels every time.
Shuffle gives you a meaningfully different list at equal nutrition — not the same cart with one swap. Rotation and seasonality keep the basket moving through the year, plant-family tracking keeps variety honest, and cuisine leans nudge the list toward how your house actually cooks.

Mirabelly builds a nutrition profile for each person in your household, from protein and fiber to iron, folate, and iodine, drawn from USDA dietary reference intakes, with separate handling for pregnancy and nursing. It then solves for one shared weekly basket from a curated catalog of 623 foods, each grounded in USDA FoodData Central data, tracking 24 nutrients across the household. The solve takes ~30 seconds and aims for about 90% of household calories, leaving you room to make your own choices. You get one list, grouped by aisle, with a per-person scorecard: every target marked met, marginal, or low. Deny an item and it re-balances without it. Shuffle and you get a meaningfully different basket at equal nutrition. Set a budget and it aims near it, tells you plainly when a week runs over, and shows the USDA food-plan benchmark for context. When a week can't be fully covered, it says so. That's the point.
